It has been 10 days since my knee operation…
It has been 10 days since my knee operation and although I’m getting a bit bored of doing wheel chair workouts I am getting more bored of my own voice repeating the same story of how it happened. It is funny how you always miss the things you take for granted, I would do anything to be able to go for a nice long run or even demonstrate a squat but although I miss these little things I feel happier knowing that I now have an attached ACL and everyday from this day on I’m getting nearer to wrestling and sparring again
So, considering this little set back I set myself a little challenge (see last weeks blog) of tightening my belt and I have to say that even though I haven’t managed any lower body training like running squats dead lifts I have only gone from 5.6% to 5.9% in BodyFat. So my theory of just consume just short of what calories you need and burn a bit more in training and you will see the benefits in no time.
I am happy to announce that the SGUT App will be launched very soon, this is going to give everyone the chance to follow a structured training and eating plan with guaranteed results and the best thing is my 30 day challenge is completely FREE!!.
The Fight Skool has got even better, with the new Boxing Ring. This is a no where to hide ring at 12ft you really have to work your angles and master the art of slipping from a close range or in the pocket.
Considering the success that the Brits are having with their medal haul and in true Olympic fashion we have decided to give everyone a free trial in the art of Olympic Freestyle Wrestling with coach Dani Vlad…please book in for this at reception.
Well, done goes out to my #SGUT client Zoe Urben who has lost 6% in BodyFat in the last 7 weeks this is what hard work and determination can give you, she is also a full time mother with a job, so people I have to ask “what’s your excuse”?
Anyway guys & girls keep training hard!
Sol Gilbert
